SC to hear Khaleda\\\'s two petitions July 13

Wednesday, 9 July 2014

The Supreme Court (SC) will hear on July 13 two civil miscellaneous petitions filed by BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia against a High Court (HC) order that had rejected her two writ petitions in the Zia Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage Trust graft cases, reports UNB.
Chamber Judge Justice Foez Siddique of the Appellate Division fixed the date Tuesday. The hearing on the petitions will be held at the full bench of the Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice M Muzammel Hossain.
However, two other criminal petitions for leave-to-appeal filed by the BNP chief did not come up for hearing Tuesday.
On Monday, the BNP chief filed four petitions with the SC against two HC orders in connection with the two graft cases.
