Scanwell Logistics to launch charitable activities in villages

Scanwell Logistics Bangladesh, a Hong Kong based company, plans to embark  upon charitable activities in selected remote villages in Bangladesh, especially in upgrading sanitation.   

To begin with charitable activities and as part of its social responsibility the  company has identified the 'Mother Theresa Home' at Farmgate in the city.

"It has been realised that as an organisation being in Bangladesh for over a decade there are various charitable projects that Scanwell Logistics could help in developing the people in need," it said.

Scanwell Logistics Bangladesh founded in 1981 in Hong Kong currently with over 65 offices worldwide has been operating in Bangladesh since 1995 as a Freight forwarding and Logistics company.

With the guidance of Adam Ho, Chairman and Andy Aaderson, Managing Director of Scanwell Logistics strongly believes in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and has been involved in numerous activities in Sri Lanka such as Montessori schooling for Orphans/Tsunami victims and other charitable projects.
