BARGUNA, June 11 (BSS): An acute scarcity of currency notes and coins of taka two and five denominations has been prevailing throughout the district for the last couple of months causing much inconvenience to people.
Retailers and consumers are the worst sufferers of the situation, as they have to face difficulties in giving changes.
Most of the time buyers are compelled to pay more to the traders and passengers to the rickshaw pullers as they are taking the scarcity as an advantage.
Locals demanded to take necessary measures to ease the problem.
