Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has called upon its President Khandker Mahbub Hossain and Secretary Barrister M Bodruddoza Badal to refrain from using the association as their political tool.
The call was made from an emergency meeting of the SCBA executive committee held Wednesday with SCBA vice-president AKM Fazlul Huq Khan Farid in the chair, reports UNB.
The meeting in a resolution condemned the statements made recently by Khandker Mahbub and Barrister Badal and said they have "embarked on a mission using the association's name to save the war criminals and the members of Zia family, who are facing cases of plundering national wealth, from legal process."
