Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokan has urged the judges of Supreme Court's (SC) Appellate Division and High Court Division, including the chief justice, to resign immediately.
He made the demand at a press briefing held at the SCBA premises on Thursday.
He also demanded to start the SC proceedings on Sunday by dropping the 'controversial' judges from both of the divisions.
He also sought justice for the ouster of the former chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha.
"Coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement demanded resignation of the controversial judges of the both the divisions of the Supreme Court. I express my solidarity with their demand," he said.
