School building-cum-flood shelter constructed in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, Apr 19 (BSS): Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) has completed two schemes of construction of school building-cum-flood shelter out of six schemes in three upazilas of the district.
LGED office sources said, of these schemes, two each in Madarganj, Dewanganj and Islampur upazilas of the district are being implemented involving Tk 14.8 million.  
Under the Shouhardo project-2, the LGED is implementing the schemes in three upazilas of the district. The schemes are: construction of Atamari Fatema Mirza Rowshan Ali non-government primary school building-cum-flood shelter and Kukurmari non-government primary school building-cum- flood shelter in Madarganj upazila, construction of Moulovir Char Girls High school building-cum-flood shelter and Sonakura non-government primary school building-cum-flood shelter in Dewanganj upazila and Sapdhari government primary school building-cum-flood shelter and Horindhara government primary school building-cum-flood shelter in Islampur Upazila.
