School girl stabbed by miscreants at Shibpur

NARSINGDI, Sept 28: A school girl was indiscriminately stabbed an injured by some miscreants at Aliabad village under Shibpur Upazila on September 26 nights.
The victim identified as Mahinur (15) daughter of Sundar Ali of Aliabad village in Shibpur Upazila, is now fighting for her life in Narsingdi Zila Hospital.
Police and local sources said, miscreants Maidul son of Vikchan Miah of Aliabad village and his associates used to disturb her.
One day Maidul proposed to marry her but Mahinur and her parents rejected it. This made Maidul furious and he with help of his friends Emdad and others attacked Sundar Ali's house and tried to kidnap her but failed and at one stage Maidul and his friends stab ether indiscriminately. Local people rushed to spot and rescued her and sent her to Narsingdi Zila Hospitals in a critical condition.
A case was filed with Shibpur police station but none was arrested so far. Miscreants threatened Mahinur and her family members to withdraw the case.
