School H\\\'ball begins today

The Polar Ice Cream 22nd School Handball Tournament for Boys and Girls will begin today (Wednesday) at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest while Director of Polar Ice Cream KM Touhiduzzaman will be the special guest at the opening ceremony. Bangladesh Handball Federation President AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the function.
In the opening match, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College will take on Chittagong Grammar School at 12:30 pm.
The finals of both boys and girls group will be held on September 9 at the same venue. In all, 32 metropolis school handball teams, comprising 15 boys and 17 girls, will compete in the weeklong meet.
