School student's body recovered in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 27 (BSS): Police recovered the body of a school student from Housenagar area under Shibganj upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The body was identified as Abdul Karim, 14, a student of class nine of Humayun Reza High School of the area and son of Abdus Sattar, a resident of the area.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body around 10.30 am, said Sajjad Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibganj Police Station.
Later, the body was sent to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The OC said there were marks of injury of sharp weapons on the throat and head of the body.
The victim's mother Karima Khatun filed a murder case in this connection.
