Schoolboy crushed under wheels of bus at Kakrail

A six-year old student of Wills Little Flower School was crushed under the wheels of a bus in front of the school at Kakrail in the city Wednesday, police said.
The child's mother was also injured in the tragic road accident and admitted to nearby Islami Bank Hospital.
The minor was identified as Hamim Sheikh, a student of KG-1 of the school. He was the only child of Sonia and Motaleb Sheikh of Suritola in Sutrapur in the capital.
Witnesses said Hamim and his mother tripped over while getting on a passenger bus in front of the school at around 11:00am causing the untimely death of the school kid.
As the news of Hamim's death spread, students and guardians of the school become agitated and set road blocks that stopped vehicular movement from Kakrail Mosque to Kakrail roundabout for around half an hour.
