Schoolboy injured as crude bomb goes off in Jessore

A schoolboy received injuries as a crude bomb blasted at Kashimpur village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore district on Monday night. The injured was identified as Raihan Hossain, 10, a class V student of Kashimpur Government Primary School and son of Jakir Hossain of the village. Abdul Aziz, sub-inspector of Jhikargachha Police Station said Raihan found a pot wrapped in red tape in the afternoon while he was returning home from school. Later, the crude bomb went off when Raihan started opening it at about 7:30 pm, leaving him injured. He was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
