Schoolboy killed by lightning strike

A high school student was killed as a lightning strike hit him at Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Enam Ahmed, 16, a student of class X of Haidarganj High School and son of Manirul Islam of at Digholkandi village. Local sources said Enam died on the spot when a thunderbolt struck him just at the moment he stepped outside his house at Digholkandi village, according to UNB.
