Schoolboy killed in Sherpur wall collapse

A schoolboy was killed as the wall of an abandoned school building collapsed on him at Charsripur village in Sadar upazila on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Minal Mia, 12, a student of class V of Charsripur government primary school and son of Ashraf Ali of the village. Witnesses said the wall of an abandoned building of the school fell on Minal while he was playing there around 1:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot. Monika Parveen, upazila education officer of Sadar upazila, confirmed the incident. On information, police recovered the body, according to a news agency.
