Scouts open field hospital for diarrhoea patients

Bangladesh Scouts has opened a 75-bed field hospital for diarrhoea patients on the premises of ICDDR'B, reports BSS.
Doctors and nurses from ICDDR,B and Rover Scouts are working in the hospital round the clock, said a press release today.
National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts Mihir Kanti Mazumder visited the hospital to see the activities of Rover Scouts.
Meanwhile, Thakurgaon District Scouts donated Taka one lakh to the Chief Advisor's Relief Fund.
Bangladesh Scouts has collected 2,50,000 packets of ORS and 1,00,000 water purifying tablets and is distributing those in the flood-hit areas.
Different types of relief materials like rice, dal, chira, muri, matches and candles are being distributed to the flood victims.
