Scrap dealer chopped to death

CHITTAGONG, Jun 30 (BSS): Unidentified miscreants chopped a scrap dealer to death at Mugaltuli area under city's Sadarghat thana in Chittagong Monday morning.
The deceased was Monir Hossain Mannan, 35, son of Haji Abdul Hossain, hailed from Magpukur Para of Sadarghat area.
Following information from the locals, police recovered the body of Mannan from near a kitchen market at Number-2 Lane of Mugaltuli area around 10am, said Pranab Chowdhury, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadarghat thana.
Police also recovered a detached wrist of Mannan from near the spot and his body bore several stab injuries.
