Students of a dormitory at Eden College at Azimpur in the city have been involved in a scuffle over watching World Cup football on television. Two students were injured in the scuffle at Ayesha Siddiqua Hall around 10:30pm on Saturday. The fight broke out when one group of students wanted to see the World Cup match while another wanted to tune into a drama series. Injured Sabina Yasmin and 'Mousumi' received primary treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and returned to the hostel late at night, constable Mozammel Haque of the hospital's police outpost said early today. Urmi, one of the witnesses, said some students were watching the Argentina vs Iran match when another group of students changed the channel for the drama series. That started the brawl, she said, according to bdnews24.com.
