SDF, Rapport ink deal on recruitment

Social Development Foundation (SDF) will recruit 1500 managers and officers for Nuton Jibon Project of the Foundation. In this connection, SDF signed an agreement with Rapport Bangladesh Limited in the city recently. Managing Director (MD) of SDF Nurul Islam Sardar and Chairman and Managing Director of Rapport Bangladesh Dr M Mosharraf Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, said a press release. Under the deal, Rapport will recruit manpower for SDF who will work under the project in the flood and cyclone-affected areas of Gaibandha, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Sirajgonj, Barguna, Patuakhali and Bagerhat. Nuton Jibon is a World Bank funded project to help create employment in the above mentioned district. Speaking on the occasion, the SDF MD described the activities of Nuton Jibon Project and expressed the hope that the deal would help SDF to get efficient manpower to successfully complete the project. In his address, Rapport chairman expressed satisfaction for getting an opportunity to serve SDF which is dedicatedly working for the poorer section of population in order to improve their livelihood.
