SDGs logos unveiled

The logos of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as Global Goals, have been launched in Bangladesh. The logos were launched during the Social Good Summit 2015, organised by the UNDP in the city. UNDP Bangladesh Country Director Pauline Tamesis along with State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan and State Minister for Information, Communication and Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak jointly unveiled the logos here for the first time. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all human beings enjoy peace and prosperity. These 17 Global Goals consist of 169 targets and will guide policy and funding for the next 15 years, according to a news agency.
