Seafood festival begins at Sheraton Dhaka

Sheraton Dhaka, in partnership with bKash Limited, has launched a seafood festival titled 'Coastal Carnival' at its restaurant, The Garden Kitchen, located on the 14th floor of the hotel in Banani.
The festival that began on July 10 will run until July 19 and will be available during dinner hours only, says a press statement.
Ambassador of Kuwait Ali Thunayan Abdul Wahab Hamadah and High Commissioner of the Maldives Shiuneen Rasheed attended the inaugural ceremony.
Seafood expert chef Rimoun Obaid, chef Sait Dursun, along with local chefs Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Md. Allama Iqbal will be showcasing rich and coastal flavors at the seafood festival.
The festival menu includes a variety of seafood preparations such as Seafood Paella Valenciana, Smoked Hilsha, Seafood Jambalaya Rice, Chitol Fish Kofta, Tuna and Salmon Teriyaki, Ilish Bharta, Fish Sayadieh, Beetroot Salmon Gravlax, and Lobster Bisque.
A live seafood counter offers items like norwegian salmon, octopus, tuna, king prawns, and lobsters.
In addition to seafood, selected meat dishes like greek lamb shank, mutton nehari, and mutton rogan josh are also available. A dessert section features items such as chocolate milk baklava, turkish rawani, tulumba, and matcha mousse cake.
The buffet is priced at BDT 9,450 per person. Buy-One-Get-One (B1G1) and Buy-One-Get-Two (B1G2) offers are available through bKash and select banking partners during the festival.
