SEBL holds workshop on foreign trade

Southeast Bank Ltd held a three-day workshop on 'Foreign Trade Operations' at the bank's training institute at its head office in the city recently.
Southeast Bank Deputy Managing Director Syed Imtiaz Hasib inaugurated the workshop.
While speaking on the occasion, he emphasised the need for proper understanding of the foreign exchange guidelines including appropriate use of operational procedures in foreign trade and urged the participants to update themselves with latest foreign exchange circulars, circular letters etc for efficient handling of foreign trade transactions of the bank.
SVP and Head of Marketing-cum-Training Mustafizur Rahman and Assistant Vice President Areefa Akhter also spoke at the workshop organised for the officers dealing with foreign trade operations of the bank.
