SEBL holds workshop on forex transactions and INCOTERMS

A workshop on "Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions and INCOTERMS" was held at the Southeast Bank Training Institute in the city recently.
The workshop was arranged for foreign trade related officers of the Authorised Dealers Branches and Head Office, said a press release.
Syed Imtiaz Hasib, Deputy Managing Director of SEBL while inaugurating the workshop emphasized the need for proper understanding of the Foreign Exchange Guidelines including appropriate use of INCOTERMS in Foreign Trade and urged the participants to update themselves with latest Foreign Exchange Circulars, Circular Letters etc. for efficient handling of Foreign Trade Transactions of the Bank.
Mazbah Uddin, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Bank gave the keynote presentation in the workshop.
Mustafizur Rahman, Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing & Training of SEBL also spoke in the workshop.
