Friday, 8 August 2008

Officers of Southeast Bank Limited (SEBL) have been advised to acquaint themselves with the tools, principles and operational procedures of general banking for the improvement of their technical and conceptual skills.

Senior Executive Vice President of the bank Mohammed Gofran made the suggestion while welcoming the participants taking part at a five-day foundation training organised by the bank's Training Institute for the probationary officers and trainee officers on general banking in the city recently, said a press release.

He also laid emphasis on continuous training to help an individual to learn how to accomplish the assigned duties effectively and therefore to minimise the gap between the present and the desired level of competence.

He further advised the participants to utilise their acquired knowledge at work places with professional spirit to build up their banking career at a globalised, competitive scenario and ensure bank's sustained growth.
