A day-long workshop on 'Prevention of Fraud, Forgery and Malpractices in Banking Transactions' organised by Southeast Bank Limited (SEBL) was held at its training institute in the city recently, said a press release.
SEBL Managing Director Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest and presented the keynote paper on the occasion.
SEBL Deputy Managing Director Syed Imtiaz Hasib, Executive Vice-president Haradhan Banik and Senior Vice-president Mustafizur Rahman spoke on the occasion.
Mr Alam urged the participants to update themselves with the latest banking practices in the globalised banking perspective and ensure close supervision, monitoring techniques towards raising awareness on prevention of fraud, forgery and malpractices in banking with specific reference to general banking, credit and foreign exchange transactions.
