SEC forms two bodies to update guidelines

FE Report The securities regulator has formed two committees to update two of the existing guidelines and make these more time befitting, officials said. The decision came Tuesday at a meeting of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with its chairman M Khairul Hossain in the chair. One committee, headed by SEC executive director Farhad Ahmed, will submit its report within 15 working days. Its report will include the ways of making the corporate governance guideline more effective and accountable.
