SEC launches securities-related book

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Tuesday formally launched a securities-related book published by the SEC.
The book titled 'Securities Related Ordinance, Act, Rules and Regulations' was compiled by the SEC.
The book contains securities-related rules, ordinance and other provisions updated up to June 2007, SEC sources said. Anyone can buy the 608-page book paying Tk 250 only.
Executive Director of the SEC Farhad Ahmed said the book is very useful especially for investors in the stock market.
The book contains securities and exchange ordinance 1969, securities and exchange rules 1987, credit rating companies rules 1996, margin rules. 1999, securities and exchange commission (issue of capital) rules 2001, securities and exchange commission (over-the-counter) rules 2001 and other related rules of the Commission and the capital market.
