SEC to discuss B Fund today

The securities regulator is likely to give its green signal to the country's largest ever mutual fund -- Bangladesh Fund -- today (Monday), sources said. An official of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said the regulator would discuss the issue at its commission meeting. Earlier, the state-run asset management company -- Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) -- submitted the proposal of Bangladesh Fund to the SEC on March 19. The proposed size of Bangladesh Fund is Tk 50.0 billion.
