Sechchhasebok League leader shot in city

A gang of armed miscreants shot at a local unit Sechchhasebok League leader leaving him bullet-hit at Badda in the city on Wednesday. The victim was identified as Nurunnabi, 35, a stone businessman and Vice President of Badda Sechhasebok League No 3 Unit. Badda police station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Jalail said unidentified criminals fired at Nurunnabi when he was supervising unloading of stones from a vehicle around 6:15am, leaving him seriously injured. Later, his relatives rushed to him Apollo Hospitals in Baridhara. The reason behind the attack could not be known immediately. Police assumed that he might have bullet hit by rivals, according to a news agency.
