The Second Film Fair-2009 will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city on September 2 (Friday).
This was disclosed at a press conference at Channel-i office in the city Monday, said a press release.
Channel-i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar and Project Director of the fair Abdur Rahman spoke at the press conference.
Organised by Channel-i, the day-long film fair will be telecast live from 11:05am to 5:30pm by the channel.
Film stars, artistes, film personalities, singers and noted personalities of film industry will take part in the fair.
The day-long fair will include displaying eventful documentary films of past five decades, staging of attractive dance and songs, 16 stalls of various memorabilia of filmdom, life-time achievement award to superstar Anwar Hossain popularly known as the Crownless Emperor, special achievement award to Super Hero Razzak with his family for his life-long contributions to film and displaying portraits of legendary film artistes.
A colourful souvenir, sponsored by developer and builders Homestone Ltd, enriched with historical information of films will be published on the occasion of the fair.
