Second special general meeting of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company held

The second special general meeting of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited was held virtually on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Posts and Telecommunications Department Secretary and Company Chairman Abu Hena Morshed Zaman, while Company Director Md Abdul Momin, Mohammad Golam Sarware E Kainat, Dr Nasima Akhter, Dr Md Mostofa Akbar, Colonel Ekram Ahmed Bhuyan, Audit Committee Chairman and Independent Director Md Moniruzzaman and Managing Director (Additional Charge) Mirza Kamal Ahmed were also present. The meeting decided to issue around 22.1 million ordinary shares at Tk 75 each against the total Tk 1.66 billion funds received from the government.
