FE REPORT | Wednesday, 13 March 2024

Following the verdict from the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday, the government decided to continue classes at secondary level schools until March 25 during the holy month of Ramadan.
On December 13, the government revised the holiday schedule for educational institutions, allowing regular activities at secondary schools to continue for 15 days during Ramadan.
According to the new decision, classes at all government and private schools at the secondary level will now run until March 25, as stated in a press release signed by Mohammad Abul Khayer, the public relations officer of the Education Ministry.
Earlier on the day, the Appellate Division cleared the way for the government to keep primary and secondary schools open during Ramadan.
