Security guard stabbed dead

Some miscreants stabbed a security guard to death and dumped his body in Old Bus Stand area in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Saturday. The victim was identified as Akbar Ali, 55, a security guard at  Old Bus Stand Bazar and hailed from Teliapara village in the Upazila. Mehedi Hasan, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said informed by locals, police recovered his body around 9:30am and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The body bore several injury marks. The reason behind the killing could not be known. Police said that miscreants might have stabbed him to death and dumped the body there, according to a news agency.
