Seed, fertilisers distributed in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Jul 2 (BSS): Agriculture office of Boda upazila today distributed high quality paddy seeds and fertilizer among the marginal farmers free of cost to boost food production.
Kamol Kumar Shah, director of Department of Agriculture Extension of Rangpur, distributed 4,500 kilograms of high quality paddy seeds and 13,500 kilograms of chemical fertilizer among 450 marginal farmers as the chief guest.
The distribution ceremony was held at the upazila auditorium with Boda upazila agriculture officer Md Enamul Huqe in the chair. Deputy director of DAE Mohammad Nazrul Islam was special guest.
Chief guest Shah said the government has taken up a master plan for the development of agriculture sector in Bangladesh for achieving food security as well as boosting production of other crops.
