Sekandar Khan new director of Exim Bank

Muhammad Sekandar Khan, an economist and educationist, has been appointed an independent director of Exim Bank at the 58th meeting of the board of directors of the bank held in the city recently.
In his long career, he held important positions and served in various capacities such as chairman of the Department of Economics, dean of the Faculty of Social Science, director of Rural Economic Programme (known for micro-credit experiment project, Grameen Bank) in Chittagong University and also project director of Rangamati University of Science and Technology, Rangamati.
He was member of Syndicate and Academic Council of Chittagong University and also member of the selection committee for appointment of teachers and officers of different universities.
