Self-contained laboratory of BSTI opens in Ctg
Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) opened a 10-storied building with a state-of-the-art self-contained laboratory of BSTI at the Agrabad commercial area in Chattogram on Saturday. Kohinur Akhter, mother of martyred Faisal Ahmed Shanto in the 2024 student uprising, inaugurated the newly-built BSTI divisional office. Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan was present as the chief speaker. Chattogram City Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain, Industries Secretary Md Obaidur Rahman, BSTI Director General SM Ferdous Alam, Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam and Public Works Department Additional Chief Engineer Md Shahjalal Chowdhury were present as the special guests at the event.
