Selim Osman elected BKMEA president

AKM Selim Osman has been elected president of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) for the next two years.
According to an official statement issued Thursday, Habibur Rahman has been elected first vice president, Mohammad Hatem second vice president, Sharafat Jamil vice president, and AH Aslam Sunny vice president (finance).
Other members of the BKMEA board of directors are - Manjurul Hoque, Abu Ahmed Siddique, Mansoor Ahmed, Md Shahjahan Alam, Shamim Ahmed, Khaza Azizul Hoque, SM Salahuddin, Md Suhrwardi, Shafiquzzaman Prince, Nurul Alam Chowdhury, Gholam Zakaria Bhuiyan, Md Humayun Kabir Khan, Md Sayeed Hussain Sarkar, Khandaker Mufachchel Uddin Ahmed, Shamol Kumar Saha, Faruque bin Usuf, FM Kabir Mohiuddin, ASM Quamrul Ahsan, Anwar Kamal Pasha, Alomgir Kabir, Mohiuddin Farooqi and Gowhor Siraj Zamil.
The BKMEA elected its president and four vice presidents on July 13. A total of 44 candidates vied for 27 directorial posts of the association.
