Seminar for female Army officers ends

A two-day seminar titled 'US and Bangladeshi Female Officers and Soldiers Subject Matter Expert Exchange' organised by AJS General Branch of Army concluded at Army Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment Thursday, reports BSS.
Major General Ashraf Abdullah Yussuf formally concluded the seminar where a total of 300 female Bangladeshi Army officers and seven female Army officers from USA participated.
"The most positive side of Bangladeshi Army officers are, they are very much motivated and enthusiastic. I believe this seminar will help the officers strengthen their capability to face the challenges while working with their male colleagues", US Army officer Col Jennifer Walker told the news agency.
Captain Zannatul Ferdous, one of the participants, said, "This seminar increased our determination and taught us how we can handle the challenges that we face as a female defense officer."
The participants shared their experiences, views and challenges.
