Seminar hails role of mobile courts in law enforcement

A seminar on 'Role of mobile courts in the enforcement of laws in Bangladesh' was held at Eastern University in the city Saturday. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Dhaka) Jamal Ahmad was the chief guest while Dhaka University Professor Borhan Uddin Khan and Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rokon-ud-Dowla were the special guests.
The seminar was presided over by Eastern University Vice Chancellor Rahim B Talukdar. The chief guest said, "Mobile court is a popular and well known phenomenon in our country. Different law enforcement agencies of the government failed to earn people's satisfaction whereas mobile courts are delivering satisfactory performances”.
Rokon-ud-Dowla thanked Eastern University for organising such a seminar.
