Seminar on chemical edn at DU

A seminar on 'chemical education' organised by the Science Faculty of Dhaka University was held at the Centre of Excellence of the university Sunday.
DU Vice-Chancellor SMA Faiz inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest while Science Faculty dean Tajmeri SA Islam presided over the function.
Prof Emeritus Yoshito Takeuchi of Tokyo University in Japan addressed the seminar as the key speaker.
He discussed the advancement of chemical education and research in Asia in detail and stressed that Bangladesh should put more emphasis on research-oriented education to contribute to the national and international research arena.
