JOYPURHAT, May 14: A day long seminar on Digital Bangladesh organized by Joypurhat District Administration was held at DC conference room Saturday. Local member of Parliament Mahafuja Mondol Rina inaugurated the seminar as a chief guest. Among others police super Mozammel Haque, ADC (general) Monjur Hasan Bhuiyan, Joypurhat Paura Mayor Abdul Aziz Mollah, District Awami league President Shamsul Alam Dudu, Joypurhat Press Club President Nripendranath Mondol delivered speech in the seminar while deputy commissioner of Joypurhat Ashoke Kumar Biswas was in the chair. Two electrocuted Another message adds: Two agri-labourers were electrocuted at Teghorbisha village under Sadar Upazila in Joypurhat district Thursday noon. They were identified as Nitta Pahan (16), son of late Tarini Pahan and Amin Pahan (52), son of Mukundu Pahan of Teghorbisha village in Joypurhat Sadar Upazila. Police and witnesses said that they went to the Boro field harvesting at Thursday morning on the land of Barun Chandra Mohanto of Teghorbisha village. When Nitta Pahan touch the electricity pole gourd cable he was electrocuted immediately and died on the spot. Amin Pahan another labourer wanted to save the Nitta Pahan. When he touch him, Amin also electrocuted and died on the spot. The villagers saw the incident and informed the police and others villagers. Police recovered the bodies but the relatives and the family members of deceased didn't agree to accept the bodies.
