Seminar on gender relationship held at DU

A seminar on `Different dimensions of gender relationship', organised by the department of sociology of Dhaka University (DU) was held on the campus in the city Wednesday, said a DU press release, reports BSS.
Executive director of UBINIG Farida Akter presented a keynote paper on gender and social forestry while cultural councilor of Islamic Republic of Iran MR Hashemi spoke about gender and religion.
Another keynote paper on contribution of social forestry in the context of gender and development' was presented by Tahsina Akhter, lecturer of the department of sociology of the university.
