Seminar on HC original jurisdiction held at JU

A career guidance seminar titled "Original Jurisdiction of the High Court Division: Company, Writ and Admiralty Frameworks" was held at Jahangirnagar University on Sunday.
The seminar was organised by the Department of Law and Justice in association with the Career Club and took place at the seminar room of Zahir Raihan Auditorium at around 10:30am.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan chaired the session. In his address, he emphasised that morality forms the foundation of law.
"As society's moral consciousness evolves, the trajectory of law also changes. Aspiring legal professionals must combine knowledge of legal provisions and the Constitution with a deep understanding of ethics and social values," he said.
