Seminar on income tax at BB

A seminar on income tax was organised Monday at Bangladesh Bank (BB) conference hall jointly by Golden Bangladesh and BB.
BB officials of various levels participated in the seminar chaired by BB executive director (ED) Ahammed Jamal. Former member of national board of revenue (NBR) Aminur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
Golden Bangladesh executive director Jahangir Alam made a powerpoint presentation on income tax measures.
Besides a description of income tax was presented through the business portal www.goldenbusinessbd.com run by Golden Bangladesh.
The participants expr-essed the view that this type of seminar by Golden Bangladesh will play role to educate the taxpayers on income tax.
The BB ED called upon all including the government to spread this type of activity across the country.
