Seminar on sustainable bldg design held in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, June 22: A seminar on Sustainable building design and project management was held at a hotel in the port city on Wednesday evening.
Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), Praxis and Umbrella PMC jointly arranged the seminar.
President of CCCI Mahbubul Alam was present at the seminar as chief guest while Vice President of CCCI Sayed Mohammed Tanvir and First Vice President of BGMEA Sayed Najrul Islam attended it as special guests.
Architect Najlee Hossain, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Praxis, CEO of Umbrella PMC Ikbal Chowdhury and Director of Tritec Limited Abu Al Motalib made a PowerPoint presentation at the event.
Among others, Directors of CCCI A K M Akter Hossain, Md Ahid Seraj Chowdhury Swapon, Jahirul Islam Alamgir, Anjan Shekhor Das, Md Omar Faruk, Adnanul Islam and former director Alamgir Parvej addressed the seminar. Other stakeholders and traders were present at the seminar.
Addressing the seminar, President of CCCI Mahbubul Alam said, "The environment is being polluted day by day in the world. So, we need environment-friendly building technology, which would be sustainable."
He added, "We have to arrange more seminars on modern and environment-friendly building technology for our future."
