Seminar on uplift held in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Oct 27: A seminar on "Role of mass media in development andexpectation of the people" organisedby Communication Initiative for Research and Development (CIRD) Rangpur, was held at Begum Rokeya Auditorium of RDRS in Rangpur city Tuesday.
Director General of Press instituteof Bangladesh (PIB) Dulal Chandra Biswas was present as the chief guest while Dean of Arts and social science faculty of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur professor Dr. Sharifa Saloa Deena was present as the special guest.
Chaired by principal of Dinajpur Medical College Dr. Hamidul Haque Khandokar, the keynote paper was presented by Golam Jakaria Pintu, coordinator of CIRD.
Among others Dr. Mofizul Islam Mantu, advocate Hosna Ara Lutfa Dalia, president of Rangpur Press Club Sadrul Alom Dulu, General Secretary of Rangpur Press Club Wadul Ali, Aftab Hossain of Boishakhi TV also addressed the seminar.
