Senior Standard Chartered official in town***

Hemant Mishr, Head of Global Markets, South Asia and Co-Head of Wholesale Bank, India for Standard Chartered Bank will arrive in Dhaka today (Tuesday) for a two-day official visit. He will be meeting regulators, clients & senior officials of the bank during his visit. As a member of the Wholesale Banking Leadership team, he is jointly accountable for the Wholesale Strategic leadership, performance and governance. His responsibility encompasses Trading and Sales across asset class like Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities and Equity. In addition, he is also responsible for Debt Capital Markets and management of the bank's balance sheet. He has governance responsibility for Corporate Advisory, Project Finance, Structured Trade Finance and Alternative Investment Group. Prior to the current role, he managed the Financial Markets Client business of Standard Chartered Bank for South Asia covering both Corporate and Institutional Sales. -FE Report
