Senior Unilever leaders visit Bangladesh

FE ReportbrGroup Vice President (GVP) South Asia and CEO Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), Nitin Paranjpe recently visited Bangladesh on a two-day trip to see the Unilever Bangladesh business, said a press release.brVice Chairman & CFO of HUL and the Finance Head of South Asia, Mr D Sundaram accompanied Mr Paranjpe during the trip.brMr Paranjpe was briefed on Unilever Bangladesh Limited's (UBL) business operations and expressed his happiness at the contribution that the leading FMCG company was making to the Bangladesh economy and consumers. brHe expressed appreciation for the contributions that the local business had made to the community especially in the areas of health, education and women's empowerment through various initiatives such as the Lifebuoy Friendship Hospital, Pepsodent Dentibus, etc.brHe was also very happy with the FMCG company's rebuilding of a village in Char Nazir which had been devastated by Cyclone Sidr last year. brThis village had been rebuilt at a cost of Tk 8 million and was recently inaugurated by the Chief of Army Staff, General Moeen U Ahmed.
