Sensex ends higher, Tata Motors, DLF, RInfra up

MUMBAI, May 13 (Economic Times): Benchmarks ended in the positive terrain but off intra-day highs Thursday as traders resorted to profit booking at resistance levels. Gains in realty and auto were offset by losses in metals and oil & gas space.
Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex ended at 17270.66, up 74.85 points or 0.44 per cent. It touched a high of 17389.15 and low of 17240.35 in today's trade.
National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed at 5179.25, up 22.60 points or 0.44 per cent. The index touched intra-day high of 5212.70 and low of 5147.95.
BSE Midcap Index was up 1.24 per cent and BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.97 per cent.
