Separate city lanes for bicyclists demanded

A bicycle rally was held in the city Thursday to promote the use of bicycles as part of a campaign for green transport, reports UNB.
Lawmakers and environmentalists took part in the rally demanding separate lanes for bicyclists along the main streets.
The rally was organised by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment and Forests Ministry.
The rally, led by the committee's chairman Hasan Mahmud, began from the South Plaza of Sangsad Bhaban and ended at Manik Miah Avenue.
