Sericulture farming training begins in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, May 10  (BSS) :  A 6-day training on sericulture farming began at Chandraghona Regional Sericulture Research Centre under Kaptai upazila of the district Sunday to turn hapless self-reliants.
Senior research officer of the Institute Dr Mohammad Rahman and Mohammad Mansur Ali were present as instructors to provide training to the participants.
Bangladesh Sericulture Research and Training Institute under Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Sericulture project organised the training programme.
A total of 25 trainees from Kawkhali, Betbunia and Kaptai under Rangamati district, Lama upazila under Bandarban district are taking part in the training course.
