Service providers should be more sincere in their work

The observation comes at BARI seminar

JAMALPUR, Mar 23 (BSS): Participants at an organisational public hearing said on Saturday the government service providers should be more sincere, transparent and accountable to their works.
They said the service providers should follow the citizen's charter to ensure the service rights of people.
They also said the government officials should listen to the allegations of the service receivers and try to solve their problems if find any irregularities, corruption and procrastination in the work.
The participants said at the organisational public hearing held at the conference room of the Regional Agriculture Research Station (RARS) here.
Training and Communication wing of Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute (BARI), Gazipur, arranged the public hearing under the programme of National Integrity Strategy Work-Plan 2023-2024.
Director, BARI, Training and Communication wing, Gazipur, Dr Md Tariqul Islam was present it as the chief guest while Chief Scientific Officer, RARS, Jamalpur, Dr Md Manjurul Kadir presided over the function.
Among others, Chief Scientific Officer, BARI, Dr Shamsur Rahman, Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), Zakia Sultana and Principal Scientific Officer, BARI, Dr Md Abdul Razzak also spoke.
A total of 50 stakeholders of BARI, DAE, BINA, BADC, NGO, SRDI, Bank and Journalists and Farmers community took part in the programme.
